Life Lately...

I love watching Ben explore and study the things around him, but I do not understand the fascination with dirt...it must be a boy thing :)

I got this shirt recently and I'm pretty sure I'll end up living in it. It's loose, but not too baggy and stripes are always a favorite.

I've found myself gravitating toward a lot of "boyfriend" styles lately, including this shirt, which was a total steal at $12.95! I couldn't find it online, but I just bought it in the store a couple weeks ago so it should still be available.

I really haven't been in to the whole sneaker trend, but I tried these on a few weeks ago and they are my new favorite! They are so comfortable and way more chic than I thought they would be.

Life Lately...

 After I posted this picture a couple weeks ago on Instagram, I got a bunch of compliments and questions asking where it was from. I love wrap dresses because they are flattering on everyone and so easy to wear. I especially love the bold print and bright blue color of this one...great for summer!

I scored this J.crew sweater on super sale (less than $25!) last week...I love the scallop detail and the over-sized, easy fit. It is so comfortable, but still really feminine. This is also a great piece to transition from summer to fall. I got it in the ivory color, but I may have to order the grey as well because I love it so much.

I wore this simple black and white outfit to church on Sunday...this is an easy look and one that I can always count on when I don't know what to wear or don't have time to "think" about putting something together.

We have been swimming almost everyday the last few weeks. It is so much fun being able to go over to Grandpa and Grandma's whenever we want to jump in the pool, especially with how hot it's been lately! Ben is a total water baby and it is so much fun to play in the pool with him.

Life Lately...

Memorial Day afternoon nap by the pool...between swim lessons and enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's new pool, it seems like we are swimming all the time lately. Ben loves it and we love it when Ben gets worn out and takes long naps :) 

 My parents got a pizza stone to try their hand at homemade pizzas...first attempt at pizza Margarita was a complete success. Recipe post coming soon...

Picked up Dad from work on Friday and ran around the Capitol lawn before going out to dinner...Ben was in heaven! 

 Trying to get a picture with Ben after church...it's rare when I can get him to hold still long enough for a picture these days...there are usually bribes involved in the form of snacks.
