With Ben turning one last week, I have been extremely nostalgic lately, looking back at pictures and videos of him as a newborn and wishing he could just stay small forever. I honestly feel like it wasn't that long ago that McKay and I found out we were going to have a baby, so to think Ben is already one is so crazy! Where did the year go?! I had these pictures taken when I was 38 weeks pregnant and Ben was born one day past my due date. At this point we were beyond excited and ready to meet our little boy--almost on a daily basis I would tell McKay, "I can't wait to see what/who he is going to look like!" Now that he has been with us for a little over a year, it is crazy to look back at pictures like these before he was born and to remember those feelings of anticipation and excitement. I was lucky enough to actually enjoy my pregnancy, so it is fun to look back and remember what an exciting and wonderful time this was for us. And even though being pregnant was exciting and fun in its own way, it has been even better having Ben here with us.
