Thanksgiving

I love this holiday and the wonderful memories I have of it growing up: cooking and baking with my mother, sisters and Nanny (grandma), sitting around the table with family talking and laughing after the meal and playing games while eating pumpkin pie. It is the perfect day to reflect on the things and people we are grateful for and to be with the ones we love. I hope you all enjoy your day and are able to spend it with family and friends.

We are actually flying to Austin, Texas to cheer on my husband's younger brother in his college football game later today {go Raiders!} and to spend the holiday with his family. After the weekend in Austin, we will be in Dallas next week, where my husband grew up. I've been to Dallas many times before, but I'm excited to be there long enough this time to do some things I've never had the chance to do during our past visits.
