Outfit: The Perfect White One Piece

outfit details: swimsuit // coverup // sandals // hat // sunglasses // necklace // tote (complimentary bag from the resort)

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts the last week or so, but for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been on vacation in Mexico. We had such a great time relaxing and playing, and I'm excited to be refreshed and ready to get back to work!

I planned on taking pictures of a few outfits for the blog while we were on our trip, but between living in swimsuits and cover ups, enjoying the beach and relaxing with my family, outfit pictures didn't really happen. One afternoon when Ben was napping, McKay and I took some quick pictures on the patio of our room (with my iPhone)--this was about as close to outfit pictures as I got during the trip :) I received a lot of compliments and questions regarding this swimsuit after posting it on Instagram, so I figured it would be worthwhile to do a post on it.

I love this swimsuit so much! I feel like it can be difficult to find a cute one piece that isn't frumpy or too conservative, so I was really excited about this beautiful suit. It is chic, flattering and extremely comfortable. I have always loved white swimsuits, but they are usually intimidating and problematic because they tend to be see through. This suit is lined and I noticed that the material is a little thicker than normal, so I never had to worry about it, even when I got in the water. This cover up from J.Crew is also great--it is about as simple as it gets, which I love. You can throw this on and it is sheer enough to show off a cute swimsuit, but still provides enough coverage so you don't feel too exposed walking around.

Hope you all have a great weekend and stay tuned for lots of great posts coming next week!
