The last couple of days in Dallas have been pretty cold--much colder than I was expecting, even for this time of year. Last night while we were driving, it started raining and the rain was freezing before it could hit the ground. By the time we got home, there was ice all over the roads and and it was full on raining sleet and ice. This morning we woke up to a soft blanket of snow/ice covering everything! With freezing temperatures and icy conditions, we probably won't be venturing out too much today, but instead, we will be staying inside watching movies and sipping hot chocolate.
